Install from the author and inspect

Tool: ChatGPT Degrade Checker, a third-party userscript for Tampermonkey. This site does not connect to your ChatGPT account or read script data.

1. Open the repository below and review its code, permissions and installation instructions.
2. Follow the author’s instructions to install Tampermonkey, then the userscript through the README installation link.
3. Open its panel on ChatGPT and inspect the PoW field. Note the raw value and time.
4. Refresh or start another chat to compare. If the panel or field is absent, check script compatibility; absence does not diagnose an account issue.

Script source and installation

What the signals mean

Proof of Work (PoW) is a signal about a client-side computation challenge. The script observes challenge information returned by ChatGPT; its reading is not an account-risk measurement made here. The author’s proposed relationship with service quality is an empirical interpretation, not an OpenAI-confirmed account or model diagnostic.

Readings can vary for the same IP. Missing fields, script failures and changing values cannot independently prove a model substitution. We assign no thresholds or account-risk levels and have not tested installation on a real account.
